The State of Colorado has extended the filing deadline to JUNE 15th. However, we would greatly appreciate you filing as soon as possible so we can process our work.

It is the mission of the Rio Blanco County Assessor's Office to provide the citizens and taxpayers of the county with an assessment process that will ensure a fair and equitable valuation of all properties within the boundaries of the county. It is the goal of the Assessor's Office that all properties be valued in accordance with the laws that govern the office.
Oil and Gas/Personal Property Declaration Schedules are due back to the Assessor's Office no later than April 15, 2020.
Colorado law requires the Assessor to hear objections to real property classification and valuation beginning no later than May 1, 2020. Objections must be postmarked, delivered or presented in person to the Assessor's Office no later than June 1, 2020.
Applications are being accepted for the Senior Homestead Exemption and Disabled Veteran Exemption until July 15, 2020.
Personal Property and Oil and Gas Notice of Valuations will be mailed no later than June 15th.
