Clerk & Recorder

The Clerk and Recorder's Office is responsible for voter registration, the conduct of all primary, general, and November coordinated elections, motor vehicle titling and registration, real estate and other recordings, marriage licenses, liquor licenses, and recording the minutes and the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners, the Board of Equalization, the Board of Human Services and the County Board of Health.

Open records requests (CORA) must be sent to the Clerk & Recorder by mail or can be sent by email.  Send all requests directly to the Clerk & Recorder, not the legal department.

Public Notices

Legal Notice Requirement

As of January 1, 2015 all Colorado newspapers are required to post their legal notices to Public Notice Colorado website.  There is a tremendous amount of information on there for every county and city in Colorado that publishes legal notices.

Drivers License Information

The Meeker Driver's License office is located in the southwest corner on the 1st floor of the Historical County Courthouse.  The Driver's License office is only open one full day a month, hours are 8:30 am - noon and 1 pm - 4:15 pm. Our office does not make appointments, customers can go to mydmv.colorado.gov to schedule their appt.
