Mission
The mission of the Human Resources Department is to oversee and administer the county's employee compensation and benefit programs. This mission includes:
  • Coordination, monitoring and review of insurance plans for health care, worker's compensation and retirement
  • Establishment and control of proper hiring, compensation and termination practices
  • Establishment and review of an effective evaluation program
The department provides a professional resource, on all personnel matters, for the county's elected officials and department heads. It provides coordination for human resource projects within the community. Rio Blanco County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
