The Rio Blanco County Communications Center will perform its duties with integrity, intelligence and initiative. We are the vital link between emergency services and the community, maintaining accurate and professional communications with a constant regard for public safety. We will remain focused on providing a level of service that exceeds expectations and enhances the quality of life of those we serve... the residents & visitors of Rio Blanco County.
Every Dispatcher is certified annually as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher to provide the best possible information to the callers and victims of medical emergencies and get and relay the most important information needed in an emergency to assist Law Enforcement and Medical personnel in determining what resources are needed at any given emergency scene, before that personnel arrives on the scene.
