Assessor
The Rio Blanco County Assessor is responsible for identifying, classifying, and valuing all real and personal property within the county for property tax purposes, ensuring assessments are fair, equitable, and in accordance with Colorado law. The office maintains accurate property records, processes exemptions, and works with property owners to address valuation concerns. Additionally, the Assessor provides essential data for local government budgeting by determining the total assessed value of taxable properties, which supports funding for schools, public safety, and other county services.

Clerk & Recorder
The Clerk and Recorder's Office is responsible for voter registration, the conduct of all primary, general, and November coordinated elections, motor vehicle titling and registration, real estate and other recordings, marriage licenses, liquor licenses, and recording the proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners. Open records requests (CORA) must be sent to the Clerk & Recorder by mail or can be sent by email. Send all requests directly to the Clerk & Recorder, not the legal department.

Coroner
The mission of the Rio Blanco County Coroner's Office is to accurately determine the cause and manner of death of individuals that die within the statutory jurisdiction of Rio Blanco County; through a fair, ethical, and competent investigation of death.

County Surveyor
The Rio Blanco County Surveyor maintains, perpetuates, and interprets legal records and public information which control land boundaries, property ownership, and associated interests for the citizens of Rio Blanco County in order to safeguard real property and promote public welfare.

The responsibilities of the Public Trustee is to perform all functions accorded by Colorado State Statutes and to carry out all functions and exercises conferred by deeds of trust.
